The Maths, Statistics and Operational Research section offers a specialist mathematics degrees plus the option to combine with another subject. We also offer an exciting new MSc Interdisciplinary Mathematics course and PhDs in statistical cybermetrics.

We take great pride in our high quality teaching and research. The Statistical Cybermetrics Research Group is our world-leading research team which offers a variety of mathematical and statistical techniques to analyse Web data. Individual lecturers also research and offer consultancy in other areas of Statistics and Operational Research (also known as management science).
